Amidst the iterative upgrades of the precision manufacturing industry, laser engraving machines have undergone technological innovation and expanded their application scope. Early laser engraving machines, limited by technology, primarily focused on simple marking on metal materials, achieving engraving accuracy of only 0.1mm. Furthermore, their bulk and high energy consumption made them difficult to adapt to the demands of specialized applications. With breakthroughs in fiber laser and UV laser technology, modern laser engraving machines have achieved a qualitative leap—accuracy has been increased to 0.001mm, enabling them to easily perform fine engraving on a variety of materials, including glass, plastic, and ceramics. Their miniaturization and integration have significantly increased, allowing them to be integrated into production lines for both batch processing and small-batch customization. Their application has expanded from traditional industrial marking to high-end fields such as jewelry customization, medical devices, and aerospace.
Today, the development of laser engraving machines is driven by a dual strategy of "intelligence and greenness." Equipped with an AI visual positioning system, it automatically identifies the workpiece's position and adjusts engraving parameters, enabling unmanned, precise operation. Combined with digital twin technology, it can simulate engraving results in advance, significantly reducing trial-and-error costs. Furthermore, compared to traditional chemical etching and mechanical engraving, laser engraving requires no consumables and produces no pollutants, aligning with the "dual carbon" goals and becoming a preferred process for green production across various industries.
